Cracker's Privacy Policy

Our email privacy policy is simple. We will not give, sell, rent, or make available our mailing list. We will use the mailing list to keep fans of the band Cracker informed of things happening in and around the Cracker world (this means we might tell you about a new musician - because a band member produced the album). Every email that we send out has instructions for getting off the announcement list.

We do collect a little information about you, well, actually your computer. We use this to make sure people are not being added to the list without their knowledge. (We could block a particular internet address from adding email addresses to our list if needed.) We do collect the standard web log files and look at them for trends in site activity, we do not share this data with anyone.

We do use "cookies" on our website. These are generally for preferences, we're not tracking you. We just want to know how you want to view a particular page.

We do not need to know your mailing address or phone number or anything like that .. well, unless we are sending you some swag. You'll know in advance of that of course.

We may ask for your zip code, country, birthdate, and gender - but the information as it relates to you will be kept private. We may share the aggregate information, which is not personally identifiable, with others (like our record label).

This is just the initial privacy policy, it will be expanded later.
