Accommodations

Sleeping:

Camping

There will be dry camping at and around Pappy & Harriet's. Bring your tent, sleeping bag, pillows, whatever. You can sleep in your car, just don't drive like a PTA mother. The camping area is next to Pappy & Harriet's and the Pioneertown Motel.

Rules for camping:

  1. All campers/RVs/campsites must register at the Pappy & Harriet's bar before parking.

  2. All campers/RVs/campsites must be self-contained - no power or water will be provided.

  3. Campers/RVs may park only in designated areas and must keep fire lanes clear.

  4. There will be no barbeques/grills and no fires. You can see the remains of some scorched Joshua Trees on the hill behind Pappy & Harriet's.

  5. Alcohol may only be consumed in designated areas. Those caught drinking alcohol purchased elsewhere will be asked to leave. No exceptions. No re-entry. No kidding.

  6. There will be no tents allowed on Pappy & Harriet's property ... tents will be allowed on the Pioneertown Motel property (must register at Pappy & Harriet's bar first).

  7. Pappy & Harriet's and the Pioneertown Motel will not be responsible for loss or damage. You are responsible for your own belongings.

  8. Pappy & Harriet's and the Pioneertown Motel and all the local residents expect everyone camping to keep areas clean and take all trash with them when they leave. Keep the desert clean!!!

  9. Pappy & Harriet's and the Pioneertown Motel ask that everyone camping respect our neighbors and keep noise and music to a reasonable level throughout their stay.

There are also plenty of hotels in the area - right around the corner is Pioneertown Motel it's booked now, there were only 20 rooms.
