Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace is located at 53688 Pioneertown Rd, Pioneertown, CA 92268.
(That's two and a half hours from Los Angeles, 45 minutes from Palm Springs, 5 hours from Phoenix, 5 hours from Las Vegas)
Pioneertown is a true "old west" style desert town with only a few businesses, but it's only five miles from Yucca Valley, which has all the amenities one would need.
Flying in:
If you are flying in ... Tickets flying into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX, about 2 ½ hours away) may be cheapest. However, many standard and economy airlines also fly into Ontario airport (abbreviated ONT, 1 hour 45 minutes away) and Orange County/John Wayne airport (abbreviated SNA, about 2 hours away). Palm Springs airport (PSP) is just under an hour away.
Driving, From Inland Empire/Los Angeles/LAX, and other points West:
It's about 2 1/2 hours east of Los Angeles. From Los Angeles go east on I-10 and exit left/north at the exit for Highway 62/Yucca Valley. Go about 18 miles (into Yucca Valley, 62 becomes Twentynine Palms Highway) and take a left onto Wamego Rd. (which becomes Pioneertown Road.) Follow the road up to next valley. First, you'll see the sign; 'Pioneertown 1946', then look for Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace on the right side.
From the Coachella Valley/Low Desert, Phoenix, and other points East:
